John H. McConnell II

John H. McConnell II has extensive experience in executive leadership and business development, currently serving as a Board Member at Worthington Steel and Worthington Enterprises since December 2023 and June 2021, respectively. Previously, McConnell held various roles at Worthington Industries from 2014 to 2021, including Vice President of Business Development and Business Director. Prior experiences include managing special events marketing for the Columbus Blue Jackets, as well as roles in sports marketing and ticket sales. McConnell also contributed to political campaign efforts for State Senator Kevin Coughlin and gained legislative experience as a Congressional Intern for U.S. Congresswoman Deborah Pryce. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from The Ohio State University and recent executive education from Harvard Business School, focusing on corporate directorship.
