Pooja Khurana

Pooja Khurana has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a Trainee position at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2010. Pooja then worked as a Business Technology Associate at ZS Associates in 2011 and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2012. In 2013, they held a Longitudinal Impact Study Intern position at Teach For India, a Co-Founder position at Determination Centre for Alternate Learning, and a Research Fellow position at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In 2016, they worked as a Product Operations and Engagement Evangelist at Edfora and a Tech Content Writer at Vidyatech. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they developed a cross-platform mobile application in React Native and added new features to the IEEE Empower a billion lives competition website. Most recently, they have been a Machine Learning Engineer at Worthix | Self-adaptive Surveys since 2019.

Pooja Khurana has a diverse educational background. Pooja obtained their Bachelor's Degree in B.E. Biotechnology from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2011. Pooja then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in M.Tech Bioinformatics from Delhi Technological University between 2014 and 2016. In February 2013, they obtained the Bioinformatics National Certification (BINC) from the Department Of Biotechnology, Government Of India. In 2017, they earned a Master's degree in Computational Science & Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. In August 2019, they were awarded the Codility Silver Award for the Molybdenum 2019 Challenge from Codility. Pooja also holds a certification in C Programming and Data Structures.
