Nathan Teasdale

Nathan Teasdale has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2007, they started their career as an Inventory Control Specialist at Graybar, where they conducted stock counts and error reporting, and implemented loss prevention efforts. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Museum Assistant at Kennesaw State University, where they were involved in research, focus groups, and online exhibit creation. In 2013, they interned as an Exhibits Intern at the NEWNAN-COWETA HISTORICAL SOCIETY INC. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of West Georgia from 2013 to 2014, assisting with archival collections for the National Parks and creating processing plans.

Teasdale then worked as an Archivist at the National Park Service from 2014 to 2021, where they were responsible for surveying, processing, and accessibility of archival collections for parks in the Southeast Region. Lastly, in 2021, they joined WorthPoint as the Customer Experience Lab Manager. Overall, Nathan Teasdale has gained valuable experience in archival work, museum assistance, inventory control, and customer experience management.

Nathan Teasdale's education history includes a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public/Applied History from the University of West Georgia, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in European History and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Kennesaw State University between 2009 and 2011. Nathan also studied History at Georgia Highlands College from 2008 to 2009 and Mechanical Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University from 2004 to 2007, although they did not complete a degree at either institution.

In addition to their formal education, Nathan has obtained several certifications. Nathan completed a Records Management 180HR program at the University of West Georgia in June 2021. In June 2020, they received Records Management Training from the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration. Nathan also holds a Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of West Georgia, received in May 2020, and a Certificate in Public History from Kennesaw State University, obtained in December 2011.
