Karen S. Cornwell (McCoy)

Karen S. Cornwell (McCoy) is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both the legal and broadcasting fields. Currently, Karen serves as the Host of the Metropolitan Opera Live Series at WOSA Classical 101 since December 2018, and as a Fill-in News Anchor and Host at 89-7 NPR News WOSU since September 2016. Additionally, Karen has practiced law as an Attorney since November 1999 and previously worked as a Staff Attorney at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas from January 2005 to October 2009. Karen holds a Master of Laws in Business and Taxation from Capital University Law School, a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, and two Bachelor's Degrees in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and The Ohio State University, reflecting a strong educational background in both legal and media disciplines.
