Anastasia M. Lemanski

Community Volunteer at Wounded Warrior Project

Anastasia M. Lemanski has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Anastasia M. started their professional career as a Wheelchair Fencer at USA Fencing in 2003 and continued until a specific end date is not mentioned. Anastasia M. also volunteered as a Mentor at Challenge Life in 2005 and served as a Literacy Tutor at Reading Is Fundamental from 2000 onwards. In addition, Anastasia served as a Community Volunteer at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa and Wounded Warrior Project in 2013. Anastasia M. was an Americorps Volunteer at AmeriCorps in 2007 and served as a Wheelchair Fencer at Round Rock Fencing Club until 2005. Furthermore, Anastasia was actively involved in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life from 2001 to 2008, where they held the role of Food and Beverage Committee Chair and served as a spokesperson for ACS, spreading Cancer Research Awareness and Education. Anastasia M. also engaged in self-employment ventures as a Mentor and Tutor.

Anastasia M. Lemanski began their educational journey at Saint Regis Falls Central School, where they completed the Honors/Regents High School/Secondary Diploma Program from 1978 to 1981. Following this, they attended Plattsburgh Senior High School from 1981 to 1983, earning a Regents Diploma and specializing in AP High School Courses. Anastasia then went on to pursue higher education at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, from 1982 to 1986. During their time there, they attained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in the field of Education/Teaching of Individuals in Early Childhood Special Education Programs. In 2003, Anastasia undertook a different academic pursuit, attending the Round Rock Fencing Club from 2003 to 2005 to become a Paralympic Hopeful in the Art of Fencing.
