Outreach Specialist at Wounded Warrior Project

Carlos Alvarado has a diverse work experience. From 2020 to the present, they have been employed as an Outreach Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project, where they assist veterans and their families in need and collaborates with law enforcement agencies and the community. Prior to this, Carlos worked as a Peer support group leader at the Wounded Warrior Project from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Sales Associate at Ralph Lauren. In 2018, Carlos briefly worked as a Rural Carrier Associate for the United States Postal Service. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Sergeant at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Earlier in their career, Carlos worked as a Correctional Officer at the Arizona Department of Corrections from 2006 to 2010 and as a Soldier in the United States Department of Defense from 2001 to 2004.

Carlos Alvarado completed an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Austin Community College between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they attended Midwestern Career College from 2014 to 2016, studying Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology/Technician. Carlos also attended Oakton College from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Criminal Justice and Corrections.
