Erik Newhouse

Erik Newhouse is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in student affairs and outdoor leadership. Currently serving as a Soldier Ride Specialist at Wounded Warrior Project since February 2021, Erik honors and empowers wounded warriors through cycling and snow sports. Prior to this role, Erik worked as a Resident Communications Specialist at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where responsibilities included guiding prospective students and supervising a team of Front Desk Assistants. Past positions also include an Admissions Counselor and Wilderness Orientation Trip Director at Calvin College, where Erik enhanced student engagement and recruitment efforts. Erik holds an M.A. in Leadership with a concentration in Student Affairs in Higher Education from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication, English Literature, and Environmental Studies from Calvin University.
