George Sands

George Sands is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in veterans' services and legal management. Currently serving as a National Service Officer at Wounded Warrior Project, George develops relationships with Department of Defense and VA leadership to facilitate the care and treatment of veterans. Previous roles include Provider Liaison at QTC Management, Inc., where compliance with VA Disability benefits was ensured, and Case and Office Manager at A Taylor Law Firm, where contract management and a transition to electronic systems were overseen. George has held significant positions at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, such as Decision Review Officer and Ratings Veterans Service Representative, and provided instruction as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston. George holds a Master of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Houston and a bachelor's degree from Clark Atlanta University.
