J. Douglas Craft

Doug Craft is the principal and chief executive officer of Atlanta-based Medicraft, Inc., which is one of the largest independent distributors for Medtronic, the world leader in medical technology and pioneering therapies. He has devoted his entire career to the medical industry, initially concentrating in the sale of spinal implants, which he continues today. Over the past two decades his commercial interests have expanded to include evaluating, consulting and developing businesses in the medical field generally, including but not limited to neuro-intraoperative monitoring, biologic agents, orthopedic reconstruction implants, surgical navigation systems and spinal implant device design. Doug is a highly experienced entrepreneur who is continually exploring opportunities to multiply investments in medical businesses and technologies. Doug has lived in Atlanta since 1984, where he and his wife of 24 years, Trisha, have 3 children. The Crafts are actively involved in philanthropic, civic and cultural institutions.

Mr. Craft earned a B.S. degree in biomedical engineering from Mississippi State University.
