Brett Burton, PMP, currently serves as the Manager of the Technical Program Management Office at Woven by Toyota since May 2022. Prior to this role, Brett held the position of Senior Technical Program Manager at Toyota Research Institute, where responsibilities included managing the Guardian Autonomy System program. With extensive experience, Brett was also the Technical Program Manager and Group Leader at Honda R&D Americas, leading the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) performance team and overseeing the development of Level 1 & 2 autonomous driving technologies for the Honda/Acura fleet. At Battelle, Brett contributed significantly as Program Manager and in prior roles as Project Manager/Chief Engineer and Senior Research Scientist, advancing projects related to carbon-nanotube technology and autonomous vehicles. Career beginnings included roles as an R&D Engineer at Diamond Power and a researcher at The Ohio State University College of Engineering, where Brett developed innovative smart material actuators. Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
