Carlos Garita

Carlos Garita, PMP has extensive work experience in project management roles. Carlos currently serves as a Senior Technical Project Manager at Woven Planet since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Rakuten from January 2015 to August 2022. Carlos also held the position of Senior Project Manager at AIG from November 2013 to November 2014. Carlos has worked at BNP Paribas as the Head of Data Center Management / Project Manager from July 2009 to June 2013 and as the Server Team Leader / Project Manager from April 2006 to July 2009. Carlos served as an Infrastructure Manager / Project Manager at Schroders from November 1998 to January 2006. Carlos began their career at Fusion Systems Japan as a Systems Engineer / Project Manager from December 1996 to October 1998. Carlos also gained experience as a Help Desk support analyst at Electronic Data Systems in July 1996.

Carlos Garita, PMP began their education in 1986 at Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where they studied Industrial Design. Carlos completed their studies there in 1989. From 1990 to 1992, they attended Western Michigan University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design and Business Administration. In 2006, Carlos obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Later, in 2013, they completed the course "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" through Coursera. Additionally, in 2018, they received the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in 2023, Carlos became an Automotive SPICE Certified Provisional Assessor through VDA QMS.
