Dimitar Lukarski

Dimitar Lukarski has extensive work experience in the field of research and engineering. Dimitar is currently working as a Staff Research Scientist at Woven by Toyota, where they focus on the Automated Mapping Platform. Prior to this, they worked at Toyota Research Institute as a Staff Research Scientist.

Before their time at Toyota, Dimitar gained experience at Apple as a Senior Software Engineer, where they held this position for over five years.

Dimitar also has experience as the CEO and Co-Founder of PARALUTION Labs, a company that specializes in delivering advanced sparse iterative solvers and matrix operations for CPUs, GPUs, and other devices. Dimitar held this role for a year and a half.

Dimitar began their career as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Uppsala University, where they worked for two years. Dimitar also worked as a Research Associate at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology for four years.

Dimitar Lukarski completed their education in the field of mathematics. Dimitar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the Technical University Sofia in 2006. In 2005, they also pursued an Erasmus program at the University of Ioannina, focusing on Applied Mathematics. Dimitar then went on to earn a Master of Science degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2008. Finally, they completed their academic journey at KIT by obtaining a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences, specializing in Mathematics, in 2012.
