Gayatri Kamat

Gayatri Kamat has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Gayatri is currently working as a Software Engineer at Woven Planet, starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Lyft as a Software Engineer in the Autonomous Driving Division from March 2021 to July 2021. Before joining Lyft, they were a Software Development Engineer at Rivian from July 2018 to March 2021. Gayatri also has experience in academia, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2017 to May 2018. During their time at Carnegie Mellon, they also served as a Research Assistant, where they automated data processing for big data, extracted features using Bash and Python scripting, and parallelized analytics using GNU tools. Gayatri started their career as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from January 2016 to December 2016.

Gayatri Kamat earned a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 2018. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai, between 2011 and 2015.
