Hayao Joji

Hayao Joji is an experienced project manager currently overseeing the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) project at Woven by Toyota since November 2022, which aims for implementation in millions of vehicles across North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to this role, Joji managed In-Vehicle Infotainment system projects at Bosch from April 2019 to October 2022, supervising the development, quality assurance, and production processes. Joji has also participated in a Junior Managers Program at Bosch, gaining insights into various automotive business functions, including engineering and project management, and designed electric motors for hybrid vehicles. Earlier experience includes an international internship at Volvo Group, leading continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing, and a plant engineering internship at Hitachi, where Joji collaborated on nuclear power plant layout design. Joji holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Sophia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
