Katsuya Terahata has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Katsuya started their career at Toyota Motor Corporation in 2014 as a Mechanical Engineer and later transitioned to a Software Engineer role. In this position, they focused on developing software and algorithms. In 2018, they joined Woven Planet Holdings as a Software Engineer, where they were the first member of the company and played a key role in establishing the team direction and developing the data collection environment. Katsuya then moved to Toyota Research Institute in 2019 as an Engineering Trainee. In 2020, Katsuya joined Woven Planet Holdings again, this time as a Senior Engineer. In this role, they worked on developing a driver monitoring system and led the team in defining goals as a product owner.
