Matt Provost

Matt Provost's work experience spans over two decades and includes various roles in engineering and management. Matt is currently the Senior Engineering Manager and London Site Lead at Woven by Toyota, where they focus on developing technologies for automated driving, smart cities, robotics, and more. Prior to this, Matt worked at Lyft as an Engineering Manager, overseeing computer vision and machine learning projects related to autonomous driving. Matt also served as an Engineering Manager at Yelp, managing the European SRE team and playing a key role in the company's migration to AWS infrastructure. Before that, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Avere Systems, where they specialized in technical presales for the VFX and Media and Entertainment industries. Matt's earlier experience includes roles at Weta Digital, Eurekster, Powweb, Boingo Wireless, CalPOP, and Globat.com, where they gained expertise in systems administration, network engineering, and web hosting. Overall, Matt brings a breadth of experience in technology, engineering management, and infrastructure development to their current role at Woven by Toyota.

Matt Provost has a Bachelor's Degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from Indiana University Bloomington, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Matt also attended Adelphi University in 1994 and has some coursework without obtaining a degree. In 2007, they studied Computer Graphics at Hagley Community College for one year. In 2006, they also briefly studied the Maōri Language at Aranui High School. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from BadgeCert in November 2012.
