Norimasa Kobori

Norimasa Kobori has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. NORIMASA is currently the Lead of Vision A.I. Platform for Woven by Toyota, where they focus on integrating artificial intelligence into the development of the Woven City project. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Engineer for Toyota Research Institute - Advanced Development, specializing in A.I. for Auto Driving. Norimasa also served as a Senior Manager for A.I. Robotics at Toyota Motor Europe for three years. Previously, they worked for Toyota Motor Corporation as a Computer Vision Engineer, Robotic Researcher & Software Engineer, and Embedded Software Engineer. NORIMASA'searlier experience includes working as a Field Application Engineer for Sony and as a Business Analyst for Mitsubishi Research Institute. With their extensive background in A.I. and robotics, Norimasa has demonstrated their expertise in various fields throughout their career.

Norimasa Kobori has an extensive education history. NORIMASA began their educational journey in 1998 at Waseda University where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in the Department of Applied Physics, completing their studies in 2002. NORIMASA then went on to further enhance their knowledge in the field by pursuing a Master's degree in Information and Computer Science, also at Waseda University, during the years 2002 to 2004. Not satisfied with their accomplishments thus far, Kobori continued to expand their expertise and enrolled at Nagoya University in 2012 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Science in Information Technology. NORIMASA successfully completed this program in 2017.
