Olle Westrin

Olle Westrin has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT security. Olle is currently working as a Security Engineer at Woven Planet Holdings since March 2022. Previously, they were employed at Secureworks as a Principal IT Security Consultant from November 2018 to February 2022. In this role, they led Red Team assessments and was responsible for project delivery, knowledge sharing, and developing internal Red Team tools. Prior to Secureworks, Olle worked as a Penetration Tester at NTT Security from May 2017 to October 2018. Olle also served as an IT Security Consultant at Cybercom Group from September 2014 to April 2017, where their responsibilities included penetration testing, code review, computer forensics, and software development. Olle gained experience in the field of Information Security during a summer job at Linköping University in June and July 2013, where they enhanced the Information Security course and created an exercise on the OAuth protocol. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer at Ericsson for a brief period in June to August 2012.

Olle Westrin pursued their education in the field of computer science and cryptography. Olle obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Cryptography from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Datateknik at Linköping University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Olle Westrin has also obtained several certifications in offensive security, including Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) from Offensive Security in January 2021, Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) in March 2020, and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) in February 2020.
