Shili Xu (Steve)

Shili (Steve) Xu has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Shili (Steve) is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Woven Planet since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Lyft as a Senior Perception Engineer from January 2020 to July 2021. Before Lyft, they served as a Principal Research Engineer at Foresight AI Inc from July 2018 to December 2019, where they led the development of a system for generating 3D driving scenarios and developed sensor fusion algorithms for high-definition map generation. Shili also worked at Apple, where they held the role of Senior ML Engineer from October 2017 to July 2018 and as an Engineer from March 2016 to October 2017. Shili (Steve) started their career at Qualcomm, initially as an Interim Engineering Intern from July 2012 to September 2012, then as an Engineer from February 2013 to November 2015, and later as a Senior Engineer from November 2016 to March 2017.

Shili (Steve) Xu pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Beihang University, a four-year program completed from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they went on to pursue their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Signal Processing at the University of Michigan. Shili (Steve) completed this two-year program from 2011 to 2013.
