Shoko Takemoto

Shoko Takemoto is an experienced professional in urban planning and disaster risk management, currently serving as the Urban Analytics Assistant Manager and Urban Analytics Project Manager at Woven by Toyota since July 2022. Prior to this role, Shoko held positions at the World Bank Group as a Disaster Risk Management Specialist from March 2017 to July 2022, and at UNDP as a Regional Technical Specialist and Climate Change Programme Analyst from October 2011 to March 2017. Earlier in the career, Shoko worked as a Consultant at EX Corporation in environmental policy and urban planning from May 2007 to May 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master in City Planning with a focus on Environmental Policy and Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Environmental Studies with a GIS concentration from Macalester College.
