Kenji Terai has worked in the design and marketing industries since 2006. Kenji started as a Freelance Designer at Built NY, where they were responsible for branding, product development, pattern design, marketing materials, visual merchandising, trade show graphics, and designing and managing websites. In 2006, they also worked as a Freelance Designer at Laird + Partners, where they were responsible for an ad campaign for Nautica Jeans and L.A.M. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Designer at IT Cosmetics, and in 2016, they worked as a Designer at Interbrand. In the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Designer at Marc Fisher Footwear. In 2018, they worked as a Design Manager at DAZN Group. In 2021, they became the Creative Director at Wovn Technologies, Inc. and founded Community + Brewery, where they serve as the Owner. Kenji is also currently working as a Design/Art Direction/Consultant/Branding/Marketing Support at www.kontrastism.com.
Kenji Terai received their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Communication Design from KIDI Parsons, Kanazawa, Japan in 2004. Kenji then went on to receive their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School in 2006.
