In 2011, they moved to Panasonic USA as a Strategy Planning Manager, where they researched market trends, key players, and their best practices. In 2013, they returned to Panasonic as a Chief Engineer and Councilor. In 2017, they joined WOWOW INC. as Deputy Director and Deputy Manager.
Wataru Ikeda earned their master's degree in Information Technology from Waseda University between 1991 and 1999. In March 2022, they became a member of JAPAN MENSA.
