Elizabeth Schlesener

Elizabeth (Alex) Schlesener is currently serving as a BMW Innovation Fellow at Clemson University, where engagement started in August 2023. Previously, Elizabeth has held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at both Clemson University and Prisma Health, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant within the Clemson University School of Computing, supporting undergraduate students. In addition, Elizabeth is the Lead 3D Designer at Drops, contributing to an Augmented Reality and Metaverse Marketing platform. Prior experience includes positions at Abduct Studios as a Texturing/Modeling Artist and participation in a research program to develop an online ASL-to-English dictionary at Converse College. Elizabeth pursued advanced education at Clemson University, achieving a Master of Fine Arts and currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Centered Computing.
