Shannon Sorensen

Shannon Sorensen is an accomplished Senior Product Designer with extensive experience in designing digital products and enhancing user experiences. Currently at WP Engine since February 2022, Shannon collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop creative solutions, while also mentoring junior designers. Previously, at XPO Logistics from May 2015 to February 2022, Shannon directed product vision through research, prototyping, and empathy workshops, and also held a role as Senior Web Designer focusing on responsive design. Shannon's career began at MENLO WW LOGISTICS as Lead User Experience Designer and Frontend Developer, contributing to web projects for Fortune 500 companies, and included earlier military experience as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Specialist in the Air National Guard. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Boise State University and an MCSE + Internet certification from the Advanced Technology Center.
