Gouranga Banerjee

Gouranga Banerjee has accumulated extensive experience in the field of marketing and sales within the pumping equipment sector. Since June 2008, Gouranga has been serving as the Senior Deputy General Manager of Central Marketing at WPIL Limited, where responsibilities include tender preparation, negotiation, finalization of orders, and marketing of pumping equipment, with a focus on large-capacity water handling pumps. Prior to this role, Gouranga held the position of Deputy General Manager in Central Marketing, overseeing the special and large pumps and accessories business. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Manager of Sales at Sulzer Pumps India Ltd from October 1998 to January 2001, specializing in the sales and marketing of chemical and process pumps. Gouranga's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calcutta, obtained between 1973 and 1978.
