Brad Martin has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Brad is currently the Senior VP of Engineering at WPL, a position they started in July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President of Clark Design Group from September 2019 to July 2021. From June 2015 to September 2019, Brad Martin worked as the Principal - Virginia Beach for American Engineering. Brad founded and served as the Principal Engineer at Martin Engineering from July 2007 to June 2015. In 2014, they briefly held the role of City Councilman at the City of Virginia Beach. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Engineering Project Manager at Engineering Services, Inc. from June 2005 to June 2007, and as an Account Manager at Avatech Solutions, Inc. from 2001 to 2004. Before that, they worked as a Design engineer and project manager at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. from February 1999 to December 2000, a Project Manager at Kellam-Gerwitz Engineering, Inc. from March 1997 to February 1999, and an Engineer at Miller-Stephenson and Associates from June 1996 to March 1997.
Brad Martin received their High School Diploma from Norfolk Academy from the years 1976 to 1988. Brad then attended Washington and Lee University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Mathematics. In 2011, Brad Martin participated in the Sorensen Institute program at the University of Virginia, completing the Political Leadership Program.
