Derek Suomi

Derek Suomi is a Graduate Landscape Architect at WPL, a position held since October 2017. Prior to this role, Derek worked as a Designer at LandDesign for four months in 2017 and gained experience as a Design Intern at EDSA, Inc. in the summer of 2016. Derek's professional background includes military service with the U.S. Coast Guard from March 2010 to March 2014. Educationally, Derek obtained a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Temple University, completed in 2017, and previously earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Horticulture/Landscape Design from Tidewater Community College in 2013.
