Anna Hickey currently serves as the WPP Global Client Lead and Head of WPP OpenDoor, having joined WPP in January 2024. Prior to this, Anna held multiple senior positions at Wavemaker, including President Global Clients and Global Consultancy Lead from January 2018 to October 2024. Experience also includes serving as Managing Director at Maxus Global from May 2015 to December 2018 and in various leadership roles at MEC and Carat. Anna has been an active member of the IPA Commercial Leadership Group since 2017, WACL since 2016, and WPP Stella, focusing on diversity and inclusion initiatives. Anna earned a BA Hons degree in Advertising & Marketing from Lancaster University between 1994 and 1997.
