Robert Bowe

Robert Bowe MBA, CPBE has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology.

From 2023, they have been serving as the Managing Director of Engineering and Technology at WQED Multimedia.

Prior to that, they founded and managed their own business, Bowe Country Audiovisual Services, since 2000. This private business provided audio excellence in live sound and installed audio systems. Robert also worked on notable projects such as the Vagina Monologues Performance off Broadway in Manhattan and "Love Encore" a benefit show for the Trinity House in Manhattan.

Robert has also held positions at PXG (PARSONS XTREME GOLF), SNEAKY BIG, Univision Communications Inc., UNOPS, MBC Grand Broadcasting, and Citadel Broadcasting. In these roles, they have gained expertise in various aspects of engineering, technology, and technical supervision. Robert has been involved in designing, installing, and maintaining LED volume and xR/VR server and delivery systems. Robert has also managed technical operations for broadcast networks and served as a technical and logistical focal point for broadcasting and public information field operations of the United Nations Department of Public Information and Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

Robert has implemented effective procedures and operations to minimize downtime and has also played a key role in developing and implementing operational and security standards.

Robert Bowe obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from The Open University, where they studied from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Professional Certificate in Management in Business Administration and Management, General from The Open University, which they completed in 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold a Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer (CPBE) certification from the Society of Broadcast Engineers, which they obtained in September 2015. Robert also has additional certifications in Prince2 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in July 2014, and ITIL Foundation from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, obtained in January 2013.
