Shannon Hoyt

Shannon Hoyt is an experienced journalist currently serving as the Evening Anchor and Producer as well as the Morning News Anchor at WQOW-News 18 since December 2017. Previously, Shannon held multiple roles such as a Multimedia Journalist and intern at the same organization. Other professional experiences include working as a Web Content Writer for University of Wisconsin-Stout Marketing, an Editor In Chief for the student-led news source Stoutonia, and a Broadcaster for Take2 Student News. In addition, Shannon served as a Communications Specialist for UW-Stout Communications. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Communication and Emerging Media from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
