Amy Parravano

Senior Biologist at WRA

Amy Parravano has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and ecology. Amy started their career as a Field Botanist for Inyo National Forest in 1995 and later worked as a Field Botanist for the Inyo County Water Department in 1996. In 1997, they worked as a Field Biologist for Harding Lawson Associates and a GCMS Environmental Chemist for Zymax Envirotechnology Inc. Moving forward, they joined the National Park Service as a Wetland Ecologist in 1999. In 2003, they worked as an Associate Biologist for WRA and then transitioned to the role of Senior Biologist at Christopher A. Joseph & Associates in 2007. Amy served as a Principal Biologist for Cal Ecology from 2010 to 2016. Amy then became the Director of Biological Services at MIG from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are working as a Senior Biologist at WRA, Inc.

From 1991 to 1996, Amy Parravano attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Systematic Biology.
