Kelsey P. Coffey

Kelsey P. Coffey is an experienced journalist currently serving as a reporter for WRAL since June 2023. Prior experience includes working as a multimedia journalist for Wear-TV 3 ABC from May 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities encompassed live breaking news and severe weather reporting. Kelsey also contributed to Grady Newsource as an anchor/reporter, creating a documentary on the 60th Anniversary of Desegregation at UGA, along with story pitching and scriptwriting. Additional roles include being a journalism innovation lab member at the James M. Cox Jr. Institute, a resident assistant at the University of Georgia focused on community building, and various positions in digital marketing and social media specialization. Kelsey holds a degree in Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
