Pete Howell

Councillor at Wrexham County Borough Council

Pete Howell has been a Councillor at Wrexham County Borough Council since 2004. Prior to that, they worked as a biomedical scientist for North East Wales NHS Trust from 1978 to 2004, heading up their Point of Care Testing and Specialised Biochemistry departments. From 2004 to 2011, Howell worked for Roche Diagnostics UK as a business development manager before moving on to AVOW, a charity supporting people with disabilities, where they worked as an information and advice officer.

Pete Howell has a Master of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Salford, a Specialist Examination in Biomedical Science from University of Bristol, and a Higher National Diploma in Biomedical Sciences from Liverpool John Moores University. Pete also has certification from IBMS in FIBMS.
