Brian Purcell

Brian Purcell is a seasoned news photographer currently employed at CBS6-WRGB since October 2018. Previously, Brian held various assistant editor positions at Logo/MTV Networks, Bird Brain, Charlotte Street Films Limited, and GRP (Green River Pictures), where responsibilities included media management, ingesting and transcoding new media, project organization, and creating multi-camera sequences. Brian's career began as Head Photographer at Howe Caverns, where management of schedules, training new employees, and capturing guest experiences were key responsibilities. Additionally, involvement as President of BSC-TV, the student-run television station, and internships at Nickelodeon and Three Act Partners LLC complemented Brian's professional portfolio. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Television and Film Arts with a minor in Photography from Buffalo State University.
