Charlyene Cosens

Charlyene Cosens, CPA, CGA, serves as the Executive Director of Financial Planning at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority since July 2022. Prior experience includes over a decade with the Government of Manitoba, where roles encompassed Manager of Analytical Services, Acting Director of Regional Finance, and Manager Regional Finance - Medical, focusing on financial planning, budget management, and compliance with legislative guidelines. Charlyene has also held positions as a Senior Financial Analyst and Controller at Central Lift & Equipment Ltd, and as a Senior Accountant at Central Services, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial analysis, reporting, and control. Charlyene holds a Certificate in Public Sector Management from the University of Manitoba, a CGA designation with SME specialization from the Certified General Accountants Association of Manitoba, and a Business Accountancy diploma from RRC Polytech.
