Arun Venkatraman

Arun Venkatraman is a seasoned professional in the fields of climate change, sustainability, and impact measurement, currently serving as the Manager for Climate at WRI India, where the focus is on upskilling and decarbonizing MSMEs in Tamil Nadu through the RISE-TN initiative. As a Co-Founder of Total Impact, Arun drives efforts to democratize Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) via tech products and services for social enterprises. Prior roles include leadership positions at GIST, where Arun managed teams and led projects on impact valuation, and contributions to research initiatives at Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Climate Policy Initiative. With a Master's degree in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies from TISS and extensive experience in journalism, Arun has a strong foundation in both communication and environmental issues.
