Marjorie Portillo-Gómez

Marjorie Portillo-Gómez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marjorie began their career as a Retail Cashier at The TJX Companies, Inc. in 2011. From there, they moved on to a Data Specialist role at Equifax in 2012. In 2012, they also started working at Des Moines Embassy Club: Downtown + West, initially as a Fine Dining Server and later as a Banquet Captain. Marjorie stayed with the company and transitioned into the role of Banquet Manager from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, Marjorie joined WesleyLife as a Terrace & Catering Manager and then took on the role of Event Coordinator from 2020 to 2021. Their most recent position is with Wright Service Corp. as a Payroll & Billing Specialist starting in 2022. Throughout their career, Marjorie has gained experience in customer service, event management, payroll, and data analysis.

Marjorie Portillo-Gómez attended AIB College of Business from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Event, Hospitality and Tourism Management.
