Darryl K. Ahner

Darryl Ahner serves as the Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Wright State University, focusing on innovation and technology to improve the human condition. Previously, Darryl held the position of Dean for Research at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included advising on research and technology transfer. Darryl's extensive military career includes leadership roles as a LTC in the U.S. Army, Director of a research center at the United States Military Academy, and various positions that emphasized research, analysis, and operational communication. Academic credentials include a PhD in Systems Engineering from Boston University and multiple master’s degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
