Josh Bearman

Josh Bearman is an experienced professional currently serving as Programs Director at Blue Sky Fund since October 2022. A partner, musician, and booker at The Hot Seats LLC since May 2002, Josh actively manages, books, and performs with the band on multiple instruments. As a DJ, board operator, and news programmer for WRIR Richmond Independent Radio since January 2005, Josh contributes to music and talk programming and serves on the Board of Directors of the VA Center for the Public Press. Josh has held various educational roles, including Science Instruction Specialist for Richmond Public Schools, and has a solid foundation in environmental education through previous positions with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from Brown University, as well as a Master of Secondary Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master's degree in Marine Science from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science.
