Dana Weissman

Dana Weissman-Scali is the Director of Programs at Writers Guild of America East (WGAE). Dana has extensive experience in managing member events and programs, including elections, seminars, workshops, panel discussions, social events, screenings, staged readings, film festival outreach, and the Annual Awards competition & celebration. Additionally, Dana oversees partnerships with the Mayor's Office of NYC and NY Screenwriters Workshop. Dana has a background in community programming, audience development, sales, marketing, and editorial roles in various organizations prior to their current position. Dana holds a BA in Social Psychology from Tufts University and has received fellowships from New York University and Teachers College, Columbia University.
