Vero Maynez

Vero Maynez is a queer, Mexican-American stage and screen actor, and teaching artist. Onscreen, one can also catch Vero cheesing with @cheezit on TikTok, and in a Cheez-It Puff'd commercial! Selected theatre credits include The Snow Queen (The House Theatre), Bechdel Fest: Momentum (Broken Nose at Steppenwolf 1700), and Feel the Spirit (Shotgun Players, Berkeley). In addition to being an actor, Vero is a passionate teaching artist, having worked with theatres across the city like Prop Thtr, About Face, and City Lit. Vero is a 200-Hour Certified Yoga Instructor, has additional training from American Conservatory Theater and is represented by Paonessa Talent Agency and Manager Tim Angle of Shelter Entertainment Group. She holds an MFA in Acting from DePaul University, and a BA in Theatre & Performance Studies with a minor in Spanish from UC Berkeley.
