WriteWise provides stop-loss health insurance for self-funded employers, alongside partners that actively manage the costs of healthcare.  

Our initial products cover pharmaceutical expense for self-insured employers.  We are the first in the industry to insure pharmacy separately from medical. This novel approach is enabled by innovative underwriting (built on proprietary, synthesized data assets and AI predictive models), as well as direct pharmaceutical management and cost containment.  

WriteWise is planning to expand from pharmacy into medical coverage by late 2024.

Hari Sundram (CEO) was previously the founder of underwriting data and analytics platform Verikai, which was acquired by Great American for $170 million, as well as self-funded insurance carrier Radion Health.  Prior to Verikai, Hari was the founder of Auris Health, a surgical robotics firm acquired by J&J for $6 billion.
