Co-Founder & Director at Written Medicine

Ghalib Khan's work experience begins in 2003 as a Dispensary Manager at Market Chemist. Ghalib held this position until September 2014. In August 2014, Ghalib co-founded and became a Trustee of MIEM-Medical Information for Ethnic Minorities, a charity dedicated to addressing health inequalities in black and minority ethnic communities. In November 2012, they co-founded and became a Director of Written Medicine, a company that improves access to medication information for those with communication barriers. Ghalib's work at Written Medicine involves creating bilingual and accessible formats for medication instructions and warnings. In September 2019, they became a Clinical Entrepreneur for NHS England. Most recently, Ghalib has been selected as a Fellow in the 2022 cohort of the NHS Innovation Accelerator, where they will help spread Written Medicine's solution across the UK and beyond.

Ghalib Khan's education history begins in 2004 when they completed an NVQ 2 - Accredited Dispensary Assistant's Course at NPA & The College of Pharmacy Practice. In 2005, they continued their education in the same field by completing another NVQ 2 - Accredited Dispensary Assistant's Course at the same institution. In 2006, Khan enrolled at Birkbeck, University of London, where they pursued a Certificate in Higher Education in Life Sciences for Subjects Allied to Medicines, graduating in 2008. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2011, Khan attended King's College London, where they earned a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree with a specialization in Pharmacy.
