Jean-Francois Martin

Jean-Francois Martin has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1990, they worked as a Functional Analyst and Developer at Transport Canada. In 1993 they held two positions, first as a Research Assistant at Université Laval and then as a Teaching Assistant at the National Research Council. In 1995 they became the Director of AI Consulting Services at TELUS Business Solutions. From 2000 to 2010, they worked at Nstein Technologies as the Director of Products - Text Analytics. In this role, they managed the team of developers and SMEs for the text analytics and semantic web COTS software solution, acted as a liaison between the product, features, markets and customers, and implemented the Agile philosophy for product management and software development. Jean-Francois then moved to Irosoft in 2010, where they were the Director of Products - Enterprise Content Management. In 2015, they became the Head of Products - AI Cloud at Mnubo and Senior Director of Product Mgt at Aspen. In 2021, they held two positions, first as an Investor at THE HOLT XCHANGE and then as the Head of Product - Conversational AI at Botpress. Jean-Francois currently holds the role of VP Products - Business Process Automation at Wrk.

Jean-Francois Martin received their B.Sc. in Computer Science from Université Laval between 1988 and 1991. Jean-Francois then went on to earn their M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the same university between 1991 and 1993. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance and Leadership Development from Thayer Leadership.
