Janet Mbugua

Janet Mbugua has had a varied and successful career in media and philanthropy. Janet is the founder of JM Media Avenue and Inua Dada Foundation, both of which they started in 2020 and 2014 respectively. At JM Media Avenue, they hold the role of Founder, starting in December 2020. Meanwhile, at Inua Dada Foundation, they also serve as Founder.

Janet has also worked at various media organizations, including hive, where they held the position of Project Director starting in July 2017. Janet is also a Co-Founder and Host of the Here And Now TV Show at Nation Media Group, a role they have held since June 2019.

In their early career, Janet worked at Royal Media Services Limited as a Senior News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer from November 2011 to April 2017. Prior to that, they worked at ETV as a News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer from January 2009 to July 2011.

Janet Mbugua obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Janet attended the university from 2005 to 2007.
