Madalo Banda is an emerging professional in biomedical engineering with a Bachelor’s degree from Malawi University of Science and Technology, expected in 2024. Currently serving as an Engineering Intern at Malawi Bureau of Standards since August 2024, Madalo has been involved in testing samples and reporting results. Additionally, Madalo holds positions as an Onfrontiers Expert and Youth Ambassador at WSA, alongside volunteering for the Cervical Cancer Awareness and Management Program. Previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, gathering data for a Global Health Design Initiative, and completing an internship at the Ministry of Health Malawi, where practical applications of biomedical engineering concepts were explored.
