Heather Frey

Heather Frey is a TV Fitness Expert for WSFL-TV's program "Inside South Florida," a position held since April 2021. As the President and Founder of SmashFit.com since 2008, Heather aims to establish the platform as a leading destination for fitness resources, emphasizing the unique Change Challenge designed to promote sustainable lifestyle adjustments rather than scale-focused metrics. Previously, Heather served as a Health and Fitness Specialist for NBC6 Miami's "Miami Moms" from January 2011 to January 2012, providing insights on exercise and nutrition for mothers. Early in their career, Heather worked as a graphic designer and published artist from 1991 to 2008, and began as an Account Representative Assistant at Ogilvy & Mather from 1988 to 1991, which included coordinating media tours. Heather holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications from Virginia Tech.
