Dr. Michelle Burroughs

Dr. Michelle Burroughs currently serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Culture and Inclusion Officer and Chief Diversity Officer at WSFS Bank, and as a Commissioner with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission. Previously, Dr. Burroughs held the position of Director of Community Engagement at Nemours, where responsibilities included managing community engagement and diversity initiatives in the Delaware Valley. Dr. Burroughs also served as Associate Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management & Administration and Chief Risk Officer at Delaware State University, and held various roles at Bank of America, including Vice President, Risk Management Sr. Officer. Dr. Burroughs is an accomplished leader with a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Delaware State University and an MBA from Penn State University, further enhancing expertise in management, risk, and inclusion.
