Janet Helms

Janet Helms has over 35 years of work experience in the banking and real estate industry. Janet currently holds the position of Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager at WSFS Bank since March 2019. Previously, they served as a Sales Representative & Referral Associate at Weichert, Realtors for over 23 years. Prior to their current role, they worked at Beneficial Bank as a Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager from May 2016 to March 2019, and as a Vice President, CRE Senior Commercial Lender from August 2011 to May 2016. Before joining Beneficial Bank, Janet worked at M&T Bank as a Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Workout Officer from August 2010 to August 2011. Janet also has experience in product management at Fiserv from September 2009 to August 2010. Earlier in their career, they held various Vice President positions at Automated Financial Systems, Mellon PSFS, Summit Bank, PNC Bank, and Meridian Bank. Janet's experience includes consulting with financial institutions on revenue enhancement and cost-saving measures, as well as implementing performance tracking and reporting systems.

Janet Helms obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College, where they studied from 1974 to 1978. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Management at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business from 1981 to 1985.
