Lauren Lowrey

Lauren Lowrey is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in television news and media. Currently serving as the Primary Anchor for WSMV's 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm newscasts since December 2018, Lauren is also the Founder and Host of AMPstigator, a video podcast launched in July 2021 that focuses on personal development and real-world stories. Prior to WSMV, Lauren held roles at WISH-TV as a Morning Anchor from June 2011 to November 2018, at WTOL as a Morning Anchor/More For Your Money Reporter from September 2008 to May 2011, and at WPDE TV 15 as a Morning & Noon Anchor from February 2006 to September 2008. Lauren graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2005.
